Never miss a deadline with reminders
Configure due-date reminders and chat alerts so your team is nudged before anything becomes overdue.
Deadlines drive practice work, and reminders make sure they are never a surprise. Finye can nudge owners ahead of due dates and push alerts to the tools your team already watches, so important jobs surface before they slip.
Turn on due-date reminders
- Open a job and confirm it has a due date set.
- Enable reminders and choose when they fire, such as a few days before and on the day.
- Confirm the owner who should receive each nudge.
- Save; reminders will follow the job automatically.
For repeating work, set reminders on your recurring jobs and templates so every new instance inherits them without extra effort.
Push alerts to chat
Connect Slack, Teams or Google Chat from Settings → Integrations to send deadline alerts into the channels your team lives in. This is especially useful for shared boards where several people need visibility of what is due.
Layer your safety nets
- Use SLAs for work with formal turnaround commitments.
- Watch a dashboard or board view filtered to upcoming and overdue jobs.
- Rely on @mentions in team chat to escalate anything at risk.
Keep it signal, not noise
Reminders work best when they are meaningful. Avoid setting so many that people start ignoring them. A nudge a few days out plus one on the due date is usually enough for most jobs, with tighter timing reserved for high-priority work.
Tip: Pair every recurring job with a reminder so deadlines are handled the moment the job is created, not whenever someone remembers to add one.
